Testimonial software for small service businesses, compared
Plenty of tools will collect testimonials for you, and most of them were built for somebody other than a plumber or a hair stylist. These are the ones a service business runs into first when it goes looking, with what each costs today.
I build one of them, so read the part about Exalted with that in mind. Everything about the others comes from their own websites, read on 29 September 2026.
Exalted
- Costs
- $9 a month for Starter, $19 for Pro
- To try it
- 14 days free, no card
Written testimonials for a service business's own website. You text a customer one link after the job, and what they write goes on your site once you approve it. Behind each one is a public page proving when it arrived and that it has never been edited.
NiceJob
- Costs
- $75 a month for Starter, $125 for Pro
- To try it
- A 14-day free trial
Built to win a service business more Google reviews without anyone having to ask. It connects to job software like Jobber and sends a request by text and email after every job.
Senja
- Costs
- Free for up to 15 testimonials, then $29 a month for Starter or $59 for Pro
- To try it
- The free plan
A well made testimonial tool for people who sell online, with video and a free plan. It collects through forms and imports praise you already have on other platforms.
Testimonial.to
- Costs
- Free for 10 text and 2 video testimonials, then from $25 a month
- To try it
- The free plan, or 7 days of a paid one
One of the best known tools for video testimonials, with a free plan and a Wall of Love to embed. It can also import reviews you already have, Google included.
Famewall
- Costs
- Free for 10 testimonials, then $12 a month for Standard or $25 for Professional
- To try it
- The free plan, no card
A cheap testimonial wall with a free plan. It takes text and video, and on paid plans it imports reviews from Google and other sites. It is aimed mostly at agencies, including ones building walls for their own clients, and at coaches.
Or none of them
If a customer emails you something kind once a month, you do not need software. Ask if you can put it on your website with their first name, then paste it in and keep the email as your record. What a tool buys you is the asking: a link that makes it easy to say yes on the day. After that the widget keeps your page current without you touching it.
And if it is Google reviews you are after rather than testimonials on your own site, the free Google review link generator makes the link, and the review request templates cover what to send with it.
